Wedding Officiant Request Form

Congratulations! Marriage is a sacred covenant established by God for the purpose of demonstrating the kind of love Christ shows His church, and is intended to be a life-long union between one man and one woman. Getting married is an exciting time in your life and DPC is honored to be asked to be a part of it!

Please fill out the following form to request a DPC minister to officiate your wedding.

Here are a few things that will be helpful for you to know:

*We suggest at least a 3-month advance request for an officiating minister.
*Our staff will only officiate weddings where at least the bride or groom is a regular attendee/member.
*Our staff will only officiate weddings where both the bride and groom are believers, accepting the statement of faith of DPC.

*All couples being married by a DPC minister must complete premarital counseling through SYMBIS which is offered on Wednesday evenings during the winter/spring connect group cycle.
*An honorarium to the officiating minister can be paid directly to the minister.
*Any travel and/or hotel expenses incurred as a result of being an officiant are to be covered by the couple. Please consider this if your ceremony will be more than 1 hour away. Please plan on including a seat at the ceremony and reception for the officiant's spouse.

* DPC does not provide other services such as wedding coordinator, DJ or media and such requests would need to be made directly from the couple to those you are wanting to hire.
*In-office ceremonies are available during business hours for up to 10 people in attendance.

A few more items:
-We can't do candles and smoke because of the sensitive fire/sprinkler system.
-We can't rearrange the chairs.
-We can't take down instruments from the platform.
-Decor on the stage and church must be simple.
