Child Dedication is not a "baptism unto salvation." Child Dedication is more about the parent/guardian making a vow to raise their children in the way of the Lord. When we position our heart and commitment in this area, there is a blessing that comes upon our child.
Child Dedication is very vital and one of the sacraments of the church. Hannah brought Samuel to the House of the Lord and dedicated him unto the Lord. God used Samuel in a mighty way as he grew into his calling.
